So far we are all really enjoying outreach! We have had some time to do fun stuff between ministries and by the food we are eating, it hasn't hit us that this is outreach! We have been very busy putting together messages and reaching out to the people of Stanger. I must say that God is incredible. Wow!

Saturday morning we had the opportunity to do street ministry down town. We were led by the Holy Spirit to pray for people that were walking by. We also had a great time doing songs, dances and a drama. We were very impressed by the beautiful dancing that Noora did while the others spent time praying for anyone who would have us. I heard incredible stories of Katlyn praying for people in shops and Asiphe leading to men to the Lord. Others were able to pray for a man the was a Hindu and Michelle and Noora spent some time with a man suffering from Epilepsy. We prayed for children, women, and even men who didn't have time to stop to talk... We just walked with them. Everything was done out of love and with the leading of God. Even though the event didn't go according to what we had scheduled, we listened to the Holy Spirit and had a great success!

Indian Ocean! Watch out for Sharks!
We were able to spend an hour enjoying our success and fellowship at the beach where we swam and laid in the sand of the Indian Ocean! It was beautiful and we were so thankful that we got the time to enjoy it.

Sunday morning we go to take over the Sunday school for Stanger Baptist Church. It was so fun and man, those kids love to dance! We even pulled them up in the regular church service to share a dance with us for the rest of the congregation. Wikus gave a wonderful message and Mel shared his touching testimony. We gave a call for prayer and Johannes bravely spoke out to the congregation not to fear us because we came to share God's love. We felt the church service went very smooth!

Because we get one "day off" per week we decided to go to Gateway Mall and uShaka Marine World. The mall was said to be one of the largest malls in the southern hemisphere and we can see why! We were able to get supplies that we need for our time on outreach and spend some time with eachother. uShaka was absolutely incredible! They gave us a huge discount and we had a blast! We spent the day going down water slides and checking out the aquarium. The whole day we were on the look out for opportunities to minister to people and we saw God's favor in retrieving Mel's ATM card at the faulty machine as well as saving us money not only at the park, but also on our plane tickets to our next destination. A great day!
Stager Prison: "A Place of New Beginnings"

Mel, Katlyn, Tanya and Noora doing street ministry

Now time for the real stuff! This week is packed full! Today we had a wonderful time ministering to the inmates of Stanger Prison. It was a huge miracle that we were even allowed in and an even bigger miracle how they ministered to us! We took turns doing songs, dances and dramas both in English and Zulu. One of the inmates shared a very moving testimony and Wikus, Lenize, Michelle and Johannes were able to share theirs. Lenize really touched them with a powerful, encouraging word from God led by the Holy Spirit. Asiphe gave an outstanding message in Zulu which led most of the men to respond to an alter call. We were able to pray for them as they accepted Christ and we can say that this experience was a huge blessing to us. Our prayer is that our team opened the door for more Christian groups to have access to the prison and it looks like that is what we have done! Go team!

We are now busy planning for smaller cell groups that will be going on tonight. I just wanted to let you all know that God is really moving here. We saw Johannes step out and pray for an ill lady and her daughter during lunch and move her to tears. God moved powerfully through him and we are all SO proud.

Portia, Tanya, Asiphe, and Johannes rockin out for Jesus!

Hope all is well! Blessings!
